Full Day Versus Half Day Kindergarten: Review and Analysis of Indiana Data



Client: Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents
Term: September 2003–February 2004

To provide data related to the recent focus on the role of early childhood education, the Center studied the effectiveness of full day versus half day kindergarten in the state of Indiana. The Center reviewed and summarized research from literature and from Indiana school districts on the effects of full day kindergarten. New data was collected and analyzed from select Indiana school districts in different locales.
