CEEP's evaluation of the Indiana Reading Excellence Demonstration Program (IREAD) examines the following:

Program planning
The transfer of scientifically based reading research (SBRR) strategies into the classroom
Lessons learned from professional development opportunities, including the use of assessments to inform instruction
The sustainability of the school's literacy capacity through the institutionalization of core elements of the program
Program impact on student and school performance measures
The process of school change
