Minnesota Standards Mapping of CSR Models

The Center proposed to develop a guide for NCREL and the Minnesota Department of Education that would inform schools to select or develop reforms that met Minnesota’s standards. The approach to developing this guide included reviewing:

• Literature to generate an overview of the reform
• Evaluative research to determine how much the claims made by the reformers were supported

The Center also reviewed the Minnesota standards in relation to reforms and generated guidance for schools on the implications of choosing reforms in their efforts to meet those standards.
