Leaders of the University of Prishtina in Kosovo are working to enhance academic capabilities, including scientific research activity, among the university’s Faculty of Education (FE). Under the guidance of Patricia Kubow, director of the Center for International Education Development and Research (CIEDR), faculty from both the IU School of Education and the FE created a partnership to develop collaborative research projects. Jeffrey A. Anderson, professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, provides the academic coordination for this project. As part of the project's first annual scientific symposium, project leaders invited CEEP director John Hitchcock to deliver two talks about mixed methods research designs at the University in Kosovo during the week of June 13–17, 2016. Dr. Hitchcock’s two talks will be, “An Introduction to Mixed Methods Research” and “Using Casual Questions to Inform Education Policy: A Mixed Methods Perspective.”
