The November General Election saw three construction referenda and seven General Fund referenda on Indiana ballots. Voters approved all three construction referenda and six of the seven General Fund referenda. These results break the trend of November referenda struggling for voter approval (i.e., of the 38 referenda occurring from November 2010–2015, only 15 [39%] passed). While these latest election results improve the historical passage rate of November referenda (now 50%–24 of 48 passed), May referenda have still seen better passage rates (69%–51 of 74 passed). CEEP project associate Stephen Hiller updated CEEP's Database of Indiana School Referenda to include these latest results.
