CEEP Director of Education Policy and Senior Research Associate Dr. Anne-Maree Ruddy will present, "Mapping the growth: Statewide voucher programs in the United States," written with CEEP Graduate Research Assistant Katherine Cierniak.
Joined by CEEP Research Associate Thomas Sugimoto, Dr. Chad Lochmiller will present two research papers both focusing on recent changes in the Indiana school funding formula. The first paper focuses on the impact these changes have had on school funding equity. Research results will be released as a CEEP Policy Brief later this year. In the second paper, Dr. Lochmiller and Mr. Sugimoto will present the results of a related study that looked at recently introduced performance funding model for Indiana’s public school corporations and charter schools.

Dr. Anne-Maree Ruddy will present, "Partnering for new possibilities: The development of a global learning certificate," a paper written with Ms. Cierniak. Dr. Ruddy will also present, "The ebb and flow of international higher education: Global and local policy perspectives," a paper written with CEEP Graduate Research Assistant Aaron Butler.
April 16-20, 2015 - Chicago, Illinois - American Educational Research Association
Dr. Lochmiller will present, "Leadership preparation in an era of school turnarounds: the promise of university/district partnership programs," a paper written with Dr. Colleen Chesnut; CEEP Research Associate Dr. Mary Stewart; and, Dr. Daniel Reyes-Guerra, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University.
Dr. John Hitchcock recently coauthored three peer-reviewed journal articles describing new applications in research methods, a book and three book chapters on mixed methods. With first author Dr. Stewart, he coauthored one of these book chapters, which focuses on quality considerations in data analyses. At AERA, Dr. Hitchcock will present three papers pertaining to mixed methods research.
