US Dept of Education publication. Ideas on how to incorporate an academic emphasis in various subject areas (e.g., math, science, technology, the arts) into after-school programs, as well as information on teacher recruitment/training and parent involvement. All activities include suggestions for additional resources that are available through the U.S. Department of Education.

Publication of the Food Research and Action Center, National Dairy Council. Extensive information on nutrition in after-school programs, and how to participate in federal and state nutrition programs.   

This publication describes the After-School Snack Program using National School Lunch Program (NSLP) funds.

These sample program activities materials have been developed and used by some of Kentucky's 21st CCLC after-school programs and can be used to guide creation of similar documents for your own after-school program.
